What We Did
This brief was for a shoot in a “day in the life” style, with the primary focus on elements of Alex’s morning routine. We booked a location house owned by a friend’ of Alex’s as base, knowing that it had lots of cosy corners and window seats where Jack could photograph Alex journaling and sipping his morning coffee. Long-standing knowledge of the surrounding area and coastline allowed Alex and Jack to be reactive to weather and to plan outside shots on the fly.
The UGG collection features several all-weather options that were showcased on a hike to a small cove that Alex used to love visiting as a child. Jack is a talented waterman as well as photographer so swam out to shoot in water surf imagery before returning to the beach to capture some drone content, ensuring that the action element of the story was told from several dynamic angles.
Jack’s approach to photography is very casual, which compliment’s Alex approach to putting shoots together and his style of art direction. With their extensive experience and skillset, they were able to work as a duo to produce this shoot from start to finish, and deliver it on time and on budget, which the client Huckberry were delighted with.
